Georgia Mountain Homes (#194464)

LOG CABIN NEXT TO USFS WITH TOCCOA RIVER ACCESS!315 RIDGECREST DRIVE, BLUE RIDGE

This is my idea of what a mountain cabin should be! A real log, metal-roofed cabin nestled in the trees, down a winding, tree-lined road, and adjacent to 200 acres of US Forest Service that fronts the beautiful Toccoa River less than 1,000 feet away! USFS frontage property is not easy to find and is highly prized in our mountains. The cabin offers plenty of room for family and friends with two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and a large loft. The great room has cathedral ceilings, a wood-burning fireplace, and a separate dining area. The kitchen has a breakfast bar. Built in 2001, the cabin has seen numerous improvements in the last two years including a new stove, new microwave, new hot water heater, new water pressure pump, and a new large rear deck. The crawl space has been brilliantly converted into a full basement with a concrete floor – perfect for storing kayaks, rafts, ATVs, and other “toys.” The interior of the cabin is all tongue-and-groove pine; the floors are hardwood, with ceramic tile in the bathrooms. Just four steps up to the front porch assure easy access to the cabin. The cabin is situated on a level 0.75 acre lot with ample parking for the whole gang and is located in a small private community in the beautiful Aska Adventure Area. An annual fee of $450 covers community water, road maintenance, and a keypunch security gate. Should this wonderful cabin become yours, the hardest decision you might have to make is what you want to do when you arrive. Perhaps you’ll choose to fish one of the three small community lakes, or take the short walk through the USFS to the river, go kayaking or rafting, hike the nearby trails, or maybe just hang around the cabin for a relaxing, but, of course, very competitive game in the horseshoe court. (#194464) $239,000
